Just this side of heaven lies the Rainbow Bridge.

When a beloved pet dies, it goes to the Rainbow Bridge. It makes friends with other animals and frolics over rolling hills and peaceful lush meadows of green. They are as healthy and playful as we remember them in days gone by.

Together, the animals chase and play, but the day comes when a pet will suddenly stop and look into the distance… bright eyes intent, eager body quivering. Suddenly recognizing you, your pet bounds quickly across the green fields and into your embrace. You celebrate in joyous reunion. You will never again separate.

Happy tears and kisses are warm and plentiful; your hands caress the face you missed. You look into the loving eyes of your pet and know that you never really parted. You realize that though out of sight, your love had been remembered.

You cross the Rainbow Bridge together.

If your pet was a patient of Bradley Animal Hospital and you would like to post a memorial to your pet at this site, e-Mail a picture of your pet, in .jpg format, along with a brief, one paragraph biography to bradleyanimalhospital@gmail.com and we'll post it here. Memorials will be posted in the order they are received with the most recent on top.

Socks was one of a kind pet. Very loyal to all of the family. He would let us know when someone was sick, rear up when he heard a strange noise and quite the show-off chasing other cats away then stopping to look back. We miss you dearly and thanks for your love. Socks R.I.P 7/2/05-1/2/18

Emma loved "swimming" in her very own wading pool. She would sit in it for hours and watch all her friends go by, occasionally inviting them in for a dip.
I miss that sight and truly miss her.

JoJo wasnt just our pet he was our family. Our “4th child” We adopted him from the Kankakee County Animal Control and his passing has left a huge hole in all our hearts. We had him 14 years. Some might say he was lucky to be adopted I say we were the lucky ones to have him and be so loved by him. We miss you everyday!
Rosco, our Best Friend. We adopted him from the Kankakee Humane Society in 2002 at 8 weeks old. A loving friend, and companion who's love never faultered, was taken from us after 9 short years. He loved the snow for playing in it made him the happiest. He was energetic, protective, and most of all the best dog anyone could ever ask for. He loved us all with everything he had. We will miss you everyday Buddy! 10/22/02-11/6/11
Abbie was one of the best dogs we have ever had. She had a rough start to life as she was mistreated by previous owners, but warmed to us quickly. She gave us many years of happiness. Abbie loved to play soccer, and dig. This is when our tree was cut down and she had a ball rolling in and digging in all the trimmings. She was a great friend and is missed everyday.
Smoke died this past Valentine's Day. We always said that our beloved cat 'Smoke' did everything EXCEPT speak English. Smoke was as incredible personality with an ability to live with older humans in a most harmonious way. Smoke taught us how to live in the now and in peaceful co-existence with all other living things. We spoiled Smoke rotten. He was buried this morning with a Pharaoh's send off. We packed his favorite pillow, clothes, a can of his favorite cat food, a photo and an obituary. We will love and miss our Smoke forever.
Bobby, We love you and miss you so very much. Mommy Daddy and Chris.
Our Beloved Polly, you will be deeply missed and forever loved, always in our hearts.

This beautiful cat was our Ziggy El Guapo (The Handsome). It was a honor to love & care for him for all his 12 years of life. A shelter kitten that quickly took control over our heart strings. His character was all his own & even in the face of diabetes he stayed brave & loving. Our lives were blessed to have him with us. We said good-bye to our boy July 21, 2010 at 11am. He was proceeded in death by his adopted brother Loki & sister Marbel. Leaving behind to remember him his younger adopted sisters Xanique & Celeste and two very sorrowful parents
Mr. & Mrs. Hoctor.

You were such a beautiful Christmas surprise for two very special kids and were able to become a loyal friend to all of us during your 12 short years. We will always remember you pulling Nicole around the floor by her ponytail, fetching sticks and putting them in nice piles, playing with bunny foo foo in the backyard, going up and down the slide at the park, and finally protecting your Church family. We will miss you best friend!

Thank you for trying to save our beloved Daisy on June 12, 2010. She was the best dog I ever had. So sweet and just loved to play Frisbee! We miss her dearly.

Here's to Buster - my friend, my rock, my shoulder to cry on. It is good to know that you are running and playing again with no pain. I will miss you constantly until the day when we cross that bridge together. Run Baby, Run!

Sadley missed; Forever loved.

Beethoven was 13 when he crossed the Rainbow Bridge to join his favorite human. He could be fussy about people but always got excited if we said lets go see the Dr.

Nippy was deaf and his Mom buried him alive twice - even the Vets said he probably would not survive but smart and silly ,tough too he lived a wonderful 5 years

"Duffy" - Duff Rose McKagen - The tail that never stopped on earth is now wagging in heaven as he plays with his canine buddies who went before him and rests on his "grandma's" lap. We miss you, Duffy.
